The Treadmill

The AquaPacer, equine underwater treadmill, mimics the normal activity of the horse and therefore utilizes the same muscles. Through control of hot and cold water temperature, water height (to control buoyancy and resistance), speed and duration, horse trainers and veterinarians can customize a protocol to the specific needs of the individual horse in a safe, expedited manner for rapid recovery from injury rehabilitation, wellness and conditioning. In addition, our underwater treadmill is commonly used for healthy horses needing more strength or endurance or to help correct gait imbalances. The AquaPacer will promote rapid build up of muscle across the shoulders, hind end, and top line of the horse.
